ClaroRainbow: UK DVD Edition
ClaroRainbow is designed to help computer users who have colour deficiency, also know as 'colour blindness'. ClaroRainbow changes every colour on-screen ? every pixel in every program ? so the colours on-screen are restricted to the ones the user can perceive.
Many people experience colour deficiency. It can be hard to use computer programs and to work with diagrams, photographs and even text at work or in education. Most people with this condition can perceive some colours, just not the standard range.
ClaroRainbow changes the colours on-screen so the colours are restricted to the ones the user can perceive. This isn`t the same as making the screen one monochrome colour: instead, it uses the colour perception the user has to let them perceive colours that people without colour deficiency can see. No colour information is lost.
ClaroRainbow also includes ClaroSpectra, our software application to help identify different colours on the computer screen. ClaroSpectra will tell users the colour of every pixel on the screen. This can help users with colour deficiency to work with colour and identify it simply and easily.
