RVTrek is a database of pushpin data for Microsoft's Streets and Trips mapping and routing software. Designed for RV enthusiasts and campers, it contains a complete database of all state rest areas on the Interstate Highway System and secondary roads and highways, 2000 truck stops, 3500 WalMart locations, over 6500 campgrounds for tent and RV camping, both public and private, and much more. Updates will be free for a year after purchase. Instant information on ever object is available right from the pushpin, and extended information from the Internet at the click of a button.
The components of RVTrek: The truck stops, the scales and washouts, the rest/service areas and turnouts, the campgrounds and RV Parks, the toll booths, the low clearances and the Walmart locations are all available separately as modules; see the listings on this page.
RVTrek and its modules are all subscriptions; the price includes a year's free updates, which occur about every six months. Subscription renewal will cost between a half and a third of the initial price. A purchaser will be notified by email about an upcoming renewal.
A companion pushpin package entitled TruckTrek, designed specifically for commercial truckers, is also available from TKE. See this web page for more information.
