The german Fraunhofer-Instituts for Arbeitswirtschaft und Organisation (IAO) conducted a study about modern working procedures in office named Information Worker Performance Study. Accourding to this study 85% of the email users store their received emails in thematically suitable folders - however only 44% of these users sort out their sent mails. Sorting out the sent emails, especially with Microsoft Outlook, is neither easy nor comfortable. By default Outlook moves the sent mails to the folder "sent items". The subsequent clean up of the "sent items" folder is very time consuming. The Outlook AddIn Send And Move assists you getting organized with your outlook folders by moving every sent mail to ther corresponding folder immediately during sending. The Tool has two functions:
Send And Move exhibits an additional button, which shows you the last used folders (history) and additonaly semantically matching "red search folders" for quick access (see Screenshot below)
If there there is no appropriate folder in the proposal the whole Outlook folder structer is shown.
Optionally the interception of every mail sending action [Alt-S] is possible, which asks you into which folder the email should be filed after sending.
The mail will be archived in the selected folder immediately after sending.
Unlike the most other filing tools inter-mailbox archiving is also possible. This means that you can select a folder in an any mailbox (pst-file) connected to your Outlook.
